Rewrite Sonic.Exe surveys the area around the Tree of Knowledge, bored as he waits for his opponent to appear. Suddenly, he hears a rustling in the nearby bushes and readies himself for battle. Out of the brush steps a creature he's never seen before: the tall and pale Wendigo, with a deer skull as a head. Rewrite Sonic.Exe: Hm, so you're my opponent, huh? You don't look like much. Wendigo: Don't underestimate me. I may not look like much, but I'm a skilled hunter. And I'll enjoy feasting on your soul. Rewrite Sonic.Exe: (laughs) We'll see about that, creature. Let's begin. The battle begins and Sonic.Exe rushes towards the Wendigo at lightning-fast speed. The Wendigo transforms into a human to dodge, but Sonic.Exe anticipated it and quickly creates thousands of perfect clones. Sonic.Exe: Ha! Try to dodge this! The clones all rush towards the Wendigo, but they are easily dispatched by the creature's powerful claws. The Wendigo then transforms again to appear as Sonic's old friend Tails, distracting Sonic for a moment. Wendigo: You can't keep up with my transformations, can you? Sonic.Exe: (growls) You may be able to transform, but you can never fully copy my abilities. Sonic rushes towards the Wendigo again, ready to use his Spin Dash. But the Wendigo anticipates the move and dodges to the side, quickly transforming into a tree to avoid any damage. Sonic.Exe: (surprised) Clever little thing. The two continue to battle, with Sonic using his illusion powers to try and trick the Wendigo. But the creature's intelligence allows it to see through the illusions and counter-attack. Eventually, the battle comes to a close as Sonic creates his "My World" ability, turning the battlefield into a red void. However, the Wendigo uses its sharp senses to detect Sonic's movements and manages to land a fatal blow on the sadistic hedgehog. Wendigo: (smirks) Looks like my hunger will be satisfied tonight. Winner: Wendigo The Wendigo was able to use its intelligence and ability to transform to anticipate and counter Sonic's moves, ultimately landing a fatal blow. While Sonic's illusion powers were impressive, they were not enough to defeat the skilled hunter.
