This time, he focused on his Recovery Atomic ability, hoping to heal the damage that Yogiri had inflicted. But Yogiri was ready for him, and he quickly unleashed his Immunity Negate. Cid's attempts at healing himself were nullified, leaving him more desperate than ever. Cid then attempted to use his Utsusemi technique, hoping to evade Yogiri's attacks. He slipped his sword into his enemy's dragon and prepared to slash. However, Yogiri was too quick, and he quickly sidestepped the attack, leaving Cid off balance. Seeing Cid's moment of weakness, Yogiri unleashed his powerful Instant Death ability. Cid's body convulsed in pain as he felt his life force draining away. But even as he was on the brink of death, Cid refused to give up. With all the strength he had left, Cid unleashed his ultimate technique, the Atomic Rain. It began to rain Nuclear Magic, creating an explosion of energy that threatened to destroy everything in its path. Yogiri tried to evade the attack, but he was caught in the blast, unable to avoid the brunt of the explosion. In the end, both Cid and Yogiri were left battered and broken, barely able to stand. But it was Cid who emerged victorious, his Atomic Rain having decimated his opponent. He stood, panting and heaving, his sword still glowing with the residual power of his magic.
