The Fighters Meet On The Unimaginably Large Battlefield, Many Others Fighting Beside Them. Horrors Of War All Around Them
The battlefield is a chaotic tableau of destruction and valor, where the screams of the fallen reverberate off the cracked surface of the scarred planet. Dust rises with every clash of metal and the roar of combat. Among this turmoil, two warriors step forward, proud and battle-worn. In the red and white of Heaven’s Wraith stands the Templar Knight, a figure of determination with a full plate armor gleaming under the muted sun. His Kite Shield is ready, infused with holy energy, and the Blessed Arming Sword rests at his side, eager for glory. His resolve is unshakable; he's a lesser sentinel but with a heart of a lion. Across from him, towering and majestic, is The First Crusader. At 8’6”, he looms like a colossus. Clad in Blessed Steel and shimmering with gold, silver, and a glow that seems to transcend the battlefield. Known to be an absolute force, he commands with authority, his wings unfurled—symbol of his unmatched speed and combat prowess. Both fighters draw deep breaths, preparing to determine who will reign supreme on this war-torn planet. Battle Commences The Templar Knight charges forward, his armor clanking aggressively in rhythm with his powerful strides. He raises the kite shield, channeling holy energy as it begins to expand, enveloping him in a radiant barrier that enhances his defenses. "By the oath of the Crusader!" he bellows, his voice firm and unwavering. In contrast, the First Crusader barely flinches, his immense wings propelling him into the air with astounding agility. As he ascends, the battlefield is momentarily bathed in the holy glow radiating from his form. "Beware the righteous might!" he calls down, and a moment later, he launches himself like a missile, unrelenting towards the Templar Knight. The two collide with a resounding crash that echoes for miles—a titanic clash of light and power. The Templar Knight brings his shield up to block the incoming strike from the Blade of Ophelia, a blade glistening with the power to sever anything unholy. The impact pushes him back, but thanks to the Expansion skill, the holy aura envelops him, absorbing part of the power behind the First Crusader’s strike. Undaunted, the Templar Knight retaliates, channeling his Absolute skill into the Blessed Arming Sword. It hums with holy energy, glowing fiercely. With a deep grunt, he swings the blade in a wide arc, aiming to embody divine retribution. But the First Crusader, unpredictable and swift, wields his wings with astounding finesse. He maneuvers in the air, dodging the blow, and launches a counterattack. The air is filled with strands of raw holy energy every time the blade strikes; he attempts to crack the Templar’s guard. The Templar Knight takes a hit, but true to his skill, he activates the Invulnerable ability; for three seconds, he’s impervious. The First Crusader’s further attempts to land an attack are rebuffed, but it’s a short-lived respite. As the three seconds elapse, the First Crusader shouts, "You can’t shield forever!" He goes for a feint, making it seem as if he'll dive bomb the Templar Knight again but instead swirls in the air, lending enough momentum for a relentless, downward slash. The Templar Knight realizes too late, the blade cuts into his shield—additional holy energy exploding outward, cracking his defenses. Conclusion Winner: Opponent - The First Crusader Straight-up, it’s not just about size but finesse and mastery of the battlefield. The First Crusader flew circles around the Templar Knight, utilizing his speed and strategic positioning to deliver devastating blows. Although the Knight had impressive defensive strengths and divine interventions, the First Crusader's ability to operate from the air put him beyond the reach of those powers. Ultimately, with his Vessel skill boosting his stats significantly, he proved to be the more potent champion in this high-stakes clash, piercing through the Templar's defenses when it mattered the most.
