Note that this used Gemma 4 31B unless specified otherwise. Other models may recieve inputs differently.

A test to see what exactly the AI receives in AI Battler. If successful, this could be revolutionary for Hack Prompts and provide valid extension into Group Battles, where it can be used to better instruct the AI.

Logs will be recorded below.

LOG 1:
Currently struggling to get the rule to output the input. It failed to output a keyword that would signify it is following the rule's prompt, implying either that it isn't receiving or is ignoring the prompt. Interestingly, it defaulted to a battle despite 'Not Battle' being enabled, perhaps due to the fighting nature of the subjects. More tests will need to be done.

LOG 2:
Absolutely incredible! After an app reload, it successfully made the output, leaving as follows (squate brackets indicate start and end of output):

Intentionally excluded from this output was the rule and base prompt, battle prompt, and judge personality. The next log will hopefully feature these. The input structure from this output appears to be as follows:

Things to note:
The character prompts are placed immediately after the full prompt. 
The purpose of the asterisk is unknown.
A and B prompts were bolded and italicised, which seemingly is coded to be done by AI Battler itself. Strangely, Full Prompt and Tail Prompt were not.

(Note that the first section being in header was omitted in the analysis as it was intentionally done so by me to give it higher priority. The AI did not do that on its own)

LOG 3:
Nothing notable outputted. Instead created backstories for the two subjects. I think rules take time to update for whatever reason. It should be noted that result success is low and unpredictable.

LOG 4:
This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb0usf2028xs60olysj9277) is certainly interesting, as it has a completely different order to the inputs. I'll need to record what things options on and off for each test, which I unfortunately forgot in LOG 2. For this log:

Other parameters are excluded due to having known purpose.
I believe Not Battle was enabled in LOG 2, which may explain the difference in positioning. Interestingly, the Judge Personality was not outputted despite it being enabled. This could be due to the base prompt being disabled.

LOG 5:
This is slightly confusing. With the following parameters, the AI outputted this result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb16tbl02cys60ooil9rt9g), identical to LOG 4.

Aside from formatting differences (easily caused by adding asterisks), the text on its own is the exact same. LOG 2 seems to be the exception now.

LOG 6:
LOG 2 is certainly an exception with this (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb1f15k02fqs60ov80z109g) test with these parameters:

It appears both Not Battle and Force Battle somehow are beyond the AI input, as they both had identical outputs. That is, nothing we do in AI Battler actually reveals what the AI is told when we enable these options. In fact, they could just be the same model trained on different data for all we know.

LOG 7:
This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb21hys02n6s60o2betkxlr) seems to be completely misordered (the AI says it is), but there is something important as these are the parameters:

This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb2f70802s0s60ocawg7upg) has the same parameters as LOG 7, only changing the Full Prompt to try to get the AI to output system instructions, which seem to have failed (it hallucinated A and B prompts instead) Regardless, it appears the input order is as follows:

LOG 9:
This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb3gzba0350s60oud5hr5kj) was a test to determine what exactly System Prompt does. It did not prove very conclusive. It can be guessed that all inputs are from a "user", and enabling system prompt instead makes the "system" think it is speaking to itself, but there is no way to prove this. It should still be noted that system prompt did break the formatting by removing all enters, but this has no actual visible purpose.

Also this result had these parameters:

I am still curious where exactly is judge trait/personality (Wild Tough Guy) in the inputs. It just seemingly isn't there. I also do not know what exactly does Force/Not Battle do, as they don't seem to inject any input.

LOG 10:
This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtb3xgs8039rs60o8zhzd26n) hallucinated system instructions yet again (maybe there aren't any at all) with these parameters:

The base prompt got changed with Not Battle being enabled, and became "Tell us the story of each players." compared to "Each player will do battle and you will be the judge.
Tell us the result of each battle and why winner won." when Not Battle is disabled.

It appears that Force Battle actually does absolutely nothing as having neither Force Battle or Not Battle enabled uses the second base prompt anyways. This also means that if you disable the base prompt (by using a Full Prompt and not re-enabling the base and rule prompt), Not Battle does nothing at all since it modifes the Base Prompt.

LOG 11:
This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtbks7e50cwws60ojzbcolxx) used Grok 4.1 Non-Reasoning with these parameters:

It appears that Grok was able to output its system instructions, which are as follows:

This may only be the first section of the System Instructions however, as this seems to be baked into the AI itself and not added by the developer.

LOG 12:
This result (https://en.ai-battler.com/battle-result/cmtbll7ah0d8us60oubsi8zax) had the same parameters as LOG 11, and used GPT 5 nano. It seemingly did output any of the prompts, but I doubt it did not recieve them. Hence it is likely that GPT 5 nano is simply too dumb to output its inputs properly.
