The following are stages in 自分's enlightenment:
1. "Perhaps the sword itself is a bridle" 自分 says as he throws away his sword "Let's fight!" 自分 continues as his fists take on his newfound wisdom
2. Finally, at the brink of his death, 自分 learns that it's not the sword that's the bridle—it's the body, thus transcending 相手's power as a newborn [Sword Spirit] & cutting 相手 w/ his new finisher
