Common Types of Users

Created by 《 Look At This Battle Result 》
This lists some types of users I know in AI Battler. This is just for fun unlike the other more information-focused sections of the Encyclopedia. —————— The following are behaviours of the 3 Main Archetypes for New & Old Users. // [𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙐𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙨] // --- ## Casual - This type of new user just wants to have fun. They will usually create some OC's or preexisting characters from fiction. They don't care whether or not they lose in battle --- ## Creator - Creators do not care as much when it comes to actually battling other users, and care more about pouring out ideas through the medium of AI Battler. This includes making dungeons, creating rules, worlds, or characters. Of course, they still battle, but just not as much as they create --- ## Competitive - This type of user wants to win. They usually have omnipotent characters, which is usually not very strong (Unless they're a prodigy like 'that guy') --- ## - Spammers: These are usually users who have experienced a "Wall", a character that they cannot defeat with any of their characters. These users were far more common back then, and they would frequent strong users and attack them until they win. They usually edit their character after they lose and may even copy some ideas from the character they're attacking ———— // [𝙊𝙡𝙙 𝙐𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙨] // --- ## Casual - A prime example of this is The Characters Guy™️, who used to be known as a competitive player, but slowly transitioned into becoming a casual player who just plays for fun. They can have strong or weak characters --- ## - Creator: Creators that have lasted such a long time have usually amassed a ton of characters --- ## Competitive - A user that has played for such a long time and has remained competitive is obviously strong. They know their stuff and can beat a majority of the new players, especially if they're just starting out --- ## - Spammers: These users are the type that would spam your character dozens of times and edit their characters in-between their sessions. However, unlike most new spammers, these spammers analyze and interpret why and how the lose. Old spammers usually don't have to spam as much as new spammers --- So to summarize, Creators are intrinsically motivated, Competitive & Spammers are extrinsically motivated, while Casual players are usually a mix of both. While that may seem too simple, because it is, that's actually because often times, players in AIBA fall into one or more of these archetypes, so it is more like a spectrum orather than a fixed color palette. —————— However, I am not done yet. Sometimes, players are not 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 a mixture of those archetypes of above, but rather, change and evolve depending on environental & personal context.
